Models in bikinis donned crocodile masks as they protested outside a luxury clothing store. The women took to the streets outside a Hermes store in Melbourne, Australia as part of an event organised by animal rights' group, PETA [People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals]. The organisation is unhappy at the fashion label's use of crocodile and other exotic animal skins. The women held up signs in the shape of Hermes bags which read "Animals Die For Exotic Skins", "Cruelty To Crocs Unmasked", and "Hermes: Bin Crocodile Skin". "Theres nothing stylish about cramming sensitive animals into pits, hacking them apart, and leaving them to die yet fashion companies like Hermès continue to expand crocodile-farming operations in Australia," a PETA spokesperson said. Other demos in Australia are planned. Credit - PETA Australia / MEGA. 16 Mar 2021,Image: 597937251, License: Rights-managed, Restrictions: World Rights, Model Release: no
