"For late night cravings, I would sometimes eat an entire pack of Oreos with milk or a jack in the box munchie meal.
"I ate deli foods at grocery stores like mac and cheese, fried chicken, potato wedges.
"Microwavable foods like burritos were another go to.
"I didn't drink near enough water and never carried a water bottle with me.
"I mostly drank soda and rarely cooked for myself."
In June 2018, Mia was sent to the emergency room after suffering a hemiplegic migraine that caused one side of her body to go numb, and she recalled being unable to speak for almost fifteen minutes.
Mia was terrified by her experience, and knew she had to change her lifestyle for the better.
It was only a couple months later that she was diagnosed with PCOS.
