Alaves je poveo već u 5. minuti iz penala nakon što je Nacho igrao rukom u svom kaznenom prostoru, a Lucas Perez bio precizan iz penala. Realu je to bio čak peti gol primljen iz jedanaesteraca u zadnje tri utakmice Primere.
