Četiri mjeseca nakon rođenja trećeg djeteta Maggie Fierro se nije osjećala dobro u vlastitoj koži. Nije bila sretna svojim tijelom nakon poroda. Znala je da se nešto mora promijeniti i onda je sve krenulo. Ispod objava na svojem Instagramu piše odlične motivirajuće tekstove, koji su toliko dobri da ćeš i sama htjeti odmah početi vježbati.
Naučila je mnogo
"Can I get results from working out at home?" or "Do I have to go spend a couple hrs at the gym everyday to see results??" The answers are ABSOLUTELY and DEF NO! (Photo was taken a few months ago when I finished 2 yrs of BBG) – – This was 2 yrs of working out strictly from home (15-45 min/5-6 days a week) It's not the easiest as you can quickly become unmotivated. For me, doing BBG at home and actually having a weekly plan to follow was a huge part of my success. I am so thankful for the things learned during this time of my journey.. – – ➖ ☝🏼DISCIPLINE – to continue to strive even on the days when motivation was not there ➖ ✌🏼SACRIFICE – sometimes sacrificing a little extra sleep and or wanting to beg out at the end of the day ➖ 🖖🏼PATIENCE – because results don't come overnight ➖ ✊🏼FLEXIBILITY – learning to be flexible and kind to yourself because life happens and things don't always go as you planned – – My hope is that through my journey I can inspire those of you who have just started out or are having a tough time staying on track. “Prvo što moram reći je kako nikad nisam mislila da ću uspjeti vježbati bez prestanka ovoliko dugo. Čak preko dvije godine. Probala sam vježbati i ranije, ali nikad nisam uspjela vježbanje uvrstiti u svoju dnevnu rutinu”, napisala je na svojem Instagram profilu Maggie. Njezin je put počeo s popularnom Kayla Itsines, a onda je počela vježbati i s težinama, odnosno utezima, a uvela je i visoko intenzivne treninge. Vježba tri do pet puta tjedno i vježba doma. Naravno da pazi i na prehranu, a posebno se drži dalje od slatkiša. Upravo je to bila velika promjena koja je bitno utjecala na njezin izgled. Prestala je jesti slatko navečer uz televiziju.
Na svojem je fitness putovanju naučila mnogo toga. “Nije bilo lagano, ali drago mi je da sam uspjela. Naučila sam se disciplini – da nastavim i dalje iako mi možda motivacija nije na razini, žrtvi – nekad je žrtva koji sat manje spavanja, strpljenju – zato jer rezultati ne dolaze preko noći i fleksibilnosti – naučila sam biti fleksibilna i dobra prema samoj sebi jer stvari ne idu uvijek po planu. Nadam se kako svojim putovanjem i objavljenim fotkama inspiriram one od vas koji su tek krenuli s vježbanjem ili koji imaju problema s održavanjem forme”, rekla je Maggie.

Dodala je i kako je svačije putovanje zasebno i kako se ne bi trebala uspoređivati s nikime. Nekad je teško, a nekad lakše. Važno je da budeš ustrajna i radiš to zbog sebe. Misli na cilj koji imaš i daj sve od sebe da ga postigneš. Transformacija ne dolazi preko noći i moraš se potruditi.
Dodala je još i ovo: “Kad god pogledam ove fotke moje transformacije jedva se prepoznajem. Voljela bih da mogu reći da sam uspjela od prve u svojem naumu i lijepom izgledu, ali nisam. Odustala sam. I to dva puta. Većinom jer nisam odmah vidjela željene rezultate, a dijelom i jer nisam bila posvećena u potpunosti. Ali znate što, probala sam još jednom i ovaj sam puta očito uspjela. Ne brinite oko toga koliko puta niste uspjeli. Važan je onaj put kad ste uspjeli.”

✖️✖️Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It's about being stronger, faster, healthier.. than you used to be. It's about setting goals, crushing those goals.. then setting some more. It's not being afraid to be new at something.. because everyone started somewhere. It's dedication even when you are not motivated. It's being grateful everyday that you have the ability to train and never taking it for granted.✖️✖️❤️✌🏼️
✖️✖️If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward. – MLK✖️✖️One of my faves! No matter the obstacles or set-backs.. you can accomplish incredible things if you continue to push forward. I shared the following advice exactly one year ago and I feel like these still ring true and I would share them again. – – 1️⃣ The number on the scale does not define you! It's just a number! It can't tell you how much muscle you've gained and fat you've lost. It does not determine your health and it definitely DOES NOT define who you are. PS: I am continually gaining and losing! #screwthescale – 2️⃣ Cardio is important for fat loss! Don't skip LISS & HIIT! I noticed more leanness when I started to incorporate HIIT. Sprints and jump ropes can be your best friends too. – 3️⃣ I know you've heard the phrase that abs are made in the kitchen, it's true! Ok.. don't go skipping training or anything 😂😝 but you have to make healthy choices DAILY. However, once in a while you may want a brownie or a slice of pizza, that's okay. Don't beat yourself up! Have the slice and move on. One cheat meal will not ruin your progress just like one healthy meal won't give you a six pack. – 4️⃣ It is a fitness JOURNEY. Definition: "a long, on going and often difficult process of personal change and development." Boom! – 5️⃣ Have fun! This doesn't have to be a grueling, awful, stressful experience. It's supposed to be a positive and encouraging one! – 6️⃣ Lean on this incredible community of babes! I have never EVER seen a more encouraging, supportive and loving fitness community… Like ever. Wether you're just starting or have been on this journey for a while now.. we need each other's support and inspiration. Yes, we each have our own, very unique paths and goals but having a community that comes behind you to encourage you makes such a huge difference 👯👯👯👯 – – Hope these help.. especially those of you who are just starting out! | One year and a half of BBG at home | First thing I will say is that I never thought I would stick to a fitness program for this long.. Ever! Like, I had tried before and it never worked out. But there is something so inspiring about this community and the support and encouragement that I continue to receive on a daily basis that really can't be put into words.
